My brand story
After establishing Ellie Lou Photography in 2016 and capturing beautiful weddings, I quickly started working with brands from a variety of backgrounds to capture professional images for their business. My branding portfolio has naturally grown ever since and I've loved working with some amazing brands over the years.
In 2020 I decided to create a dedicated sister brand for Ellie Lou Photography focused entirely on branding, so I officially launched Branding by Ellie Lou Photography. Nowadays, I work mainly as a brand photographer capturing a handful of small weddings each year.

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME

I love the beach and I can't ever imagine living too far from the coast. My favourite spots for a coastal weekend away are Salcombe and Fowey. If my out of office is on it's quite likely that I've sneaked in a little trip to one of these pretty seaside villages!​

I grew up in North Somerset but before setting up home in Portishead with my husband, we used to live in South Devon while studying at Plymouth University. Devon is like our second home and I have lots of links to this beautiful part of the Country. ​

I am a Mum to a very energetic toddler who arrived in Summer 2023. He is our world and shares our love of the outdoors and exploring nature.

I left my 9-5 in 2015 to turn my dream of running a creative business into a reality.

I'll take any opportunity I can to explore the outdoors - any time of year! From muddy Autumn bike rides in the Somerset countryside to winter beach walks. I'm lucky to be close to many beautiful spots and within a short distance of the Cotswolds and Devon. ​​
